Love will find us in the end Part 6

Jillian woke with a scream to find Spooky standing by her side. “Hush my love, everything will be okay, we much to talk about, but for now rest” Spooky meowed. “I’ll come back in a few hours.” Closing her eyes, Jillian fell back to sleep. Awakening a half an hour later, she found Nurse Jazzy waiting by her side, “I’m glad you’re awake,” she yipped. “I take it that you have successfully trained with the Basset Clan.”

“The what,” Jillian began, then stopped and thought about it. “That really happened, I thought it was only a dream.”

“Nope that was real alright,” Nurse Jazzy replied “You’re the promise cat, destined to stop the rat’s ascent to power.”

“Really, I don’t think that I’m that special….” Jillian began…

“Oh cut the cheese,” Nurse Jazzy growled, as she removed a sharp needle from her bag,” You know very well that you’re the promise cat and I can’t let you confront the Rat King till his dream of world domination has been achieved.”

“What, what are you doing...” Jillian asked, struggling to sit-up.

“Isn’t obvious,” Nurse Jazzy growled in response. “I’m putting you out of commission permanently, it is wish of the Rat King and what he wishes, I deliver. Now be a good little cat and hold still, this will hurt only a little.”

With a hiss, Jillian attempted to clamor further up on the bed, only to find that while she a sleep, someone had applied restraints.

“I knew that you’d struggle.” Nurse Jazzy yipped in response to Jillian’s actions. “So I instructed Tiggy my assistant to have you restrained, in order that you will not accidently harm yourself while sleeping.”

“You’re insane,” Jillian screamed.

“Perhaps,” Nurse Jazzy growled. “But I have fun doing it, besides I’ve been guaranteed the leading role as the Taco bell dog, after all this goes down.”

“This is why you’re doing this,” Jillian hissed. “For a stupid role, let me ask you this- what fun is a title or position, when there is no one around to share it with you?”

Nurse Jazzy paused for a moment, then yipped, “Oh you just don’t understand, but that doesn’t matter now. I only need one thing from you.”

“Oh and what is that?” Jillian hissed

“To be a good little kitty and die.” Nurse Jazzy growled as she walked closer to Jillian’s side.
