In the End, Revisions.

Editor’s note. Having received the original manuscript from Brother Tobias, I followed his instructions to the letter, as this is company policy. At that time, we were unaware of anything slandering Crow & Company in this manuscript. By the time the government officials halted the publishing of the book, five million copies had already been delivered and an additional million were on back order. Even though a recall was immediately issued, none of the delivered books were ever returned.
Sincerely,
Brother Michaels
Dear readers, I hope you have had as much fun reading this blog series as I have had in writing it. Before we go, there are a few things that need to be wrapped up. When I first started this project, I had a specific idea in mind. However that didn’t quite workout, which turned out to be a good thing in the long run. I’m of course talking about having the characters talk in all verse. At first this seemed possible, but as I got further into the story line, I found that it was more of hindrance and that was when I decided to scrap it. Now that the rough draft of the story is done, I’m going to put this away for a bit, then come back to it and strip away everything that is unnecessary to the story as a whole. Once this is done, I’ll slowly go through the manuscript again and again, changing this or that, so that the story flows true, to the point that every twist and turn will fall in perfect tune to the emotions portrayed in the words. This is what revisions and fine tuning the work is all about and it is a vital part of the writing process.
Sincerely,
Richard Polk
