From the Desk of Brother Tobias
This is about the time dear readers that things leave the realm of the possible and travel to the world of dreams and nightmares…be forewarned, in these next few post will be the last. I’ve stumbled across documents that will turn this government on its head and exposes the lies once and for all. A final copy of this transcript has already been sent to the press and will be distributed to every worthy household in the morning. Currently I’m in the middle of packing my bags. For I have broken one of Crows most sacred laws by searching for the truth. Now I must flee before, I’m forced to pay the cost of such an expensive luxury. I fear that given my haste in this past week to complete this project in so short a time, that I wasn’t able to give it the required attention that is expected from a respected historian, such as myself.
Now as I was saying, this next part deals specifically with the mysterious and the weird. Even the going on of the two brothers one dead, one in hiding are steeped in mysticism and the forbidden arts. There is no proof to back up these claims, since I received them through whispered words from Corvus’s back alleys and yet strangely enough, they strike me as true. It is my duty to report what I have found, instead of government propaganda of how Father and his culprits were captured and sentenced to die for their treachery, but in doing so wooed Crow’s heart, causing him to change the policy of one punishment fits all crimes. This is complete rubbish. The real reason why Crow allowed this change in law was so that it’d discourage any further uprisings and pave the way for the citizens to slide easier into line. Now you have the truth, what you decide to do with it, is up to you.
As for me, I’m leaving you with the last piece that I may ever write, let it serve as my testimony to all Corvians.
